The Safer Science Program is dedicated to empowering educators, administrators, and safety professionals to cultivate a robust safety culture in STEM education. This interactive session will focus on introducing the six essential elements of the Safer Science Program and exploring systems-based approaches to safety that ensure sustainability and resilience in institutions. Attendees will share their own experiences, best practices, and challenges, fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration to enhance safety practices at secondary schools, community colleges, and primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs).
