Annelise Gorensek-Benitez
About me
Annelise is a lecturer at a small liberal arts college by day and fiber artist by night. A biophysical protein chemist by training, Annelise teaches courses in general chemistry and biochemistry, but her passion is teaching the chemistry of fibers and dyes. Annelise and her co-presenter, Dr. Sara Hubbard of Ouachita Baptist University, enjoy sharing their dye-based laboratory activities with other educators at chemical education conferences each summer.
