About me
Soma Biswas, high school chemistry teacher at Marana High is involved with teaching PreAP Chem, DE chemistry, and on level chem. In the past, she has taught AP chemistry as well. She is passionate about engaging students in deeper-level learning. She takes pride in developing phenomenon-based content across all levels of chemistry and incorporates fun, game-based review strategies to make learning interactive and enjoyable.As the leader of the chemistry collaborative team and advisor for the school’s Chemistry club, Mrs. Biswas takes pride in fostering inclusive learning community in this title 1 school. She has contributed to the creation of 3D assessments for on-level chemistry, enhancing students understanding using modeling approach. She has been a proud presenter of professional development at State’s Science teacher association.Outside the classroom, she enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors, travelling, discovering new cuisines, and crocheting.
