About me
My name is Jeff Sesemann. I am the Head of the Science Department at Windsor High School in Weld County. Before teaching in Windsor I taught at Desert Ridge High School in Mesa, AZ. I have been teaching chemistry for 14 year. I have taught general chemistry, honors chemistry, AP Chemistry, Earth Science, and Biotechnology.
I earned my Master of Educational Leadership in 2018. In 2024 I achieved National Board Certification for Science Education: Adolescents and Young Adulthood. As a science educator I have applied a Hands on, Minds on learning philosophy. Running an inquiry-based science class where students engage with science concepts, reflect on their learning, and become more confident as critical thinkers is my ultimate goal for the students in my classroom.
