About me
Susan Zawacky earned B.S. in Chemistry from Iowa State University in 1972 and a Ph. D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Stanford University in 1979. She taught chemistry at Menlo School in Menlo Park, CA from 1977 to 1983, and taught Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and Physics at Sewickley Academy in Pittsburgh, PA from 1984 to 2019. She was a member of the Pittsburgh Conference (Pittcon) Committee from 1995 to 2023 and chaired the Pittcon Science Week science outreach program 3 times. In retirement, she enjoys reading, traveling, and doing church volunteer work.
