About me
Tiffany Childress Price is in her 18th year as a public school teacher and serves in Chicago Public Schools as a STEM instructional coach. She is a nationally board certified science teacher who is passionate about students developing a love for and mastery of science practices and concepts that can change their quality of life and the quality of life for their communities. Tiffany’s teaching is rooted in student and community experiences, and she looks for ways to integrate her experience as a community organizer in teaching. Tiffany is a doctoral student at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Mathematics and Science Education PhD program in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. and is a Project SEEEC (Science Education for Excellence and Equity in Chicago) Fellow. Tiffany and her family (including a rambunctious bull terrier) live in Chicago and enjoy hiking, cycling, road tripping, and taking Amtrak trips to new places.
