About me
Hi! I am excited to be the co-chair of this ChemEd! I teach general chemistry lecture and lab at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. I am also active in the AP chemistry world as an AP Reader, AP Chemistry Consultant, and AP item writer. I started out as a high school chemistry teacher in a rather new school with no chemistry curriculum. So I have experienced first-hand the stress of having no lesson plans, no labs, and no idea how to pace my classes nor teach my students to love chemistry. Desperate, I sent myself to a ChemEd in Vancouver in 2005 which rocked my teaching world! I am therefore passionate about sharing the best chemistry education PD with other teachers - paying it forward!
