Sunday July 20, 2025 3:00pm - 6:00pm MDT
Come join us for Make & Takes!   Bring a collegue or meet a new ChemEd friend!    There will be 20 (yes, 20!) short Make & Takes!   George Hague, one of my ChemEd mentors in the 1990s, said that chemistry classrooms should be full off fun things to add pizazz!   Come to make your own chemistry buttons, lip balm (needed for Colorado!), pH "logs," ferrofluid jars, shrinky dink Bohr models, Eurocast clips, magnetic chemistry poetry, balanced birds, golden electrolysis pennies (who knows how much they'll be worth someday!), pet molecules, mole bolos ("molos!"), periodic table roses and more!   Try your hand at some cool puzzles shared by Penney Sconzo at ChemEd!   Bring your goggles to add "bling" and sparkle for ChemEd and the upcoming school year!   So be sure to come and stay for a few hours because we are gonna have some FUN!

So, let's raise our beakers to George Hague and create some cool classroom to take home!

I'm looking forward to seeing all y'all at the Make & Takes on Sunday afternoon from 3 - 6 PM!     See you then!

If your children will be with you, we will have a couple of crafts that children can enjoy. However, the Make & Takes are intended for registered educators. Please supervise your children. They may help you with your Make &Takes, but please do not allow them to take materials meant for teachers. Thank you!
