About me
I teach AP and Honors Chemistry, DE Anatomy & Physiology, and PLTW Medical Interventions at Bloomington High School South in Bloomington, IN. I hold a B.S. and M.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Environmental Science, and I have over 20 years of teaching experience in secondary and post-secondary institutions. I received the NABT 2024 Outstanding Biology Teacher Award for Indiana, and although I am trained as a biologist, I love teaching chemistry because it explains HOW biological processes work. I never miss an opportunity to emphasize to students the importance of chemistry in all branches of STEM education and life!
