Teachers often take numerous hours over the course of the school year to grade lab reports that can be copied, AI generated, or completely off base only to wonder why so many students still cannot make connections between lab work and class work. New lab assessment ideas will be shared, with implementation trials and tribulations that turned to successes over the last year.

Kristen is a chemistry teacher from NY. She utilizes active learning techniques including Modeling Instruction, POGIL, and NGSS along with some flipped classroom ideas. She also enjoys crocheting, crossfit, and running.
