About me
Laura Trout has a B.S. in chemistry from Central Washington University and a M.S. in chemistry from the University of Washington. She taught high school chemistry for 31 years in both public and private schools. Laura is very involved with The POGIL Project. She has been writing activities and implementing POGIL in her classroom for over 24 years. She served as the Editor-in-Chief for the High School POGIL Initiative (HSPI) and has been a member of The POGIL Project Steering Committee. She currently works for The POGIL Project in a part-time capacity, developing workshops and writing activities for published collections. Laura lives in Lancaster, PA with her husband and daughter.
